Sage 200 MCP server: connect Sage 200 to Claude and ChatGPT
Direct connection or agent
How Junction connects to Sage 200
Sage 200 can be read two ways: through its API with credentials that can only read your administrator authorises, or, where it runs on your own servers, through a database login that can only read. For servers that cannot be reached from the internet, the small Junction agent runs inside your network and connects outward, so no inbound firewall port is opened.
Questions you could ask about Sage 200
- “Which customers are over their credit limit?”
- “What is our aged creditors position?”
- “How did sales by project compare with last quarter?”
Answers come from your own system, with the source rows and the time the data was last updated.
What to know
- Sage 200 is widely used (markets: United Kingdom) and readable without writing to it. We build each mapping from the vendor's own reference and check it with a customer who runs the system.
- Integration routes found in our research: REST API, SQL (direct DB), ODBC.
- When we researched this in October 2026 the vendor offered no MCP server of its own; only unofficial, community-built ones existed.
- Payroll and personal data are denied by default.
