COINS MCP server: connect COINS to Claude and ChatGPT
Direct connection or agent
How Junction connects to COINS
COINS can be read two ways: through its API with credentials that can only read your administrator authorises, or, where it runs on your own servers, through a database login that can only read. For servers that cannot be reached from the internet, the small Junction agent runs inside your network and connects outward, so no inbound firewall port is opened.
Questions you could ask about COINS
- “Which contracts have cost ahead of valuation?”
- “Which subcontractor applications are waiting for certification?”
- “Which vendors have invoices unpaid for more than 45 days?”
Answers come from your own system, with the source rows and the time the data was last updated.
